Norman Rountree, of Chuckatuck, Va., was laid off from his day job and has since struggled to make ends meet during the economic downturn. In fishing “not only do I catch enough to feed my family, but I catch and sell enough to barely keep my head above water. The real joy though is being with nature and forgetting about the worries of real life”, Rountree says.

Mocha is a 2 year old pit bull available for adoption, she is currently living with Chesapeake Animal Control, but she would like to live with you!

This is Bella, a three legged pit bull enjoying some time in the sun. She lost her leg after a breaking a bone and has now become a therapy dog. She likes to visit the Norfolk Naval Base and spend time with wounded soldiers. Bella has so much energy and happiness to share!
